Ready Reads for Book Groups
"Ready Reads”, sets of 10 paperback copies of popular books accompanied by reading discussion guides, can be borrowed by local book clubs. Books are checked out to individual members of the group and circulate for 4 weeks. Group leaders may reserve a set by speaking with the Reference Librarian.
Titles include: Little Bee by Chris Cleave; Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; The Gathering by Anne Enright; The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrell; Walden by Henry David Thoreau; A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson; People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks; The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz; Tinkers by Paul Harding, Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese; The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Shaffer, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, and The Last Pick by David McGillivray and Linda Fechter.
