Family Literacy Month @ the Paul Pratt Memorial Library

In recognition of the role parents play in their children's school success as well as the achievement of high educational standards in the Commonwealth, November 2008 has been declared Family Literacy Month in Massachusetts.

Students of all ages do better in school when they are reading, writing, and participating in literacy and other learning activities with their families."

PPML Homework Center Opens Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Thank you to Cohasset's Victoria's for the generous discounts on pizza served on Nov. 18 &25 and Dec. 2. We greatly appreciate your support of our program!

Would you like some help with homework? Join fellow Cohasset students at the library’s Homework Center, which will be open every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. during the school year. Free tutoring will be provided by members of the Cohasset High School Honor Society. No need to sign up – just drop in! Kate Nelligan, Guidance Counselor at the Cohasset Middle School, will oversee the Homework Center. Pizza and beverages will generously be provided by the Friends of the Cohasset Library.
