The Paul Pratt Memorial Library’s Historical Room houses a variety of local interest material such as published works by local authors, microfilm of Cohasset Mariner, books on the history of Cohasset and notable local citizens, Cohasset High School yearbooks, annual town reports, vital records, newspaper clippings, videorecordings, older maps, and atlases. Also included in the collection are the Survey of the Historical Assets of the Town of Cohasset, local government documents and reports, and books on the history of regional towns. On display are donated objects of interest by local citizens. Material in the Archive collection is available for use within the library. Whenever possible, duplicate copies are available in the circulating collection.
