Our Young Adult Room is an inviting, comfortable space for middle school and high school kids. We offer an informal seating area with comfortable easy chairs complete with writing arms suitable for doing homework, pleasure reading, and for quiet conversation. We are equipped with computers connected to the Internet for research, communication, and entertainment. Our room includes three tables with moveable chairs for homework and study groups.

The Young Adult collection includes fiction, graphic novels,non-fiction, refernence, magazines, and books on tape, books on CD. and Playaways. The collection has genre stickers to help students with their fiction reading assignments and an up to date non-fiction collection to assist students with their research.

The Teen Advisory Board meets the third Monday each month. We have pizza in the Community Room, participate in booktalks, make collection recommendations, and discuss school projects. TAB is for students in grades eight and up. Call ahead and reserve your space.
