Wireless Internet Policy

The Paul Pratt Memorial Library provides unfiltered wireless Internet access to patrons equipped with their own portable computing devices. Compliance with the Library’s Internet Policy, which prohibits abusive or illegal activity while using the Library’s Internet service, is required (see the Library's Internet Policy). The Library reserves the right to terminate any wireless network connection in accordance with federal and state law and with Library policy.

The Library’s wireless Internet service does not provide a secure connection. Virus and security protection is the user’s responsibility. The Library assumes no responsibility for damage to or theft of a user’s equipment, loss of data files, or for information that is compromised through use of the Internet. Library staff does not provide any technical assistance to patrons using their own portable computing devices.
